Location: North Cascades Area, NW Washington State near Newhalmn: Let me describe it for you.  You enter into the forest for one mile along a somewhat narrow but excellent dead-end road.  The forest here is quiet, serene and whispers of spirit voices can be heard. Was it a pixie or a fairy we glimpsed, shyly watching our hushed steps. Deep in a glen you find yourself along a raging river; bubbling, splashing, swirling and more.  Pools call to you to explore the hidden mysteries of her shore.  The woods are still as you enter, moss covered old growth tree people watch, their approval is given as you enter with respect and give an offering.  The stone people call.  We found large boulders, some 30 and 40 feet high and 60+ foot wide, beckoning us to come and sit, listen to their ancient wisdom. 

Purpose

Where your intention goes, your energy flows; as you define the purpose of your Quest, the universe will propel you in the direction of your intention.

Traditional Quest: 

Arrive Wednesday at 10 am. Wednesday we will be setting up a base camp.  This is the day of orientation and finding your questing spot.  Then early and silently on Thursday AM you will go alone into the wilderness and spend three nights.  Sunday you will come in for a welcoming ceremony and sharing our experiences and preparing to re-enter in a good way the life you left behind.  You will be leaving Sunday about 4 pm.

          Some preparation will be done with each of you before your arrival so that you can be prepared and choose several options concerning your quest.

This pristine spiritual place of power and the spirits of the land, the river and animals await you.
