PLEASE register as I do a healing attunement on you and can only have so many in each class.
Will I learn anything new when I re-audit?
Absolutely, as I grow and learn I can add to the class. This year has brought tremendous changes, even the symbols are now as correct as we can get them. I wish in all my heart I could gather all the old students from the last few years and gather them together.
How does your lending Library work?
The books in the upstairs Reiki Room are for my personal use and for the clients I work with, They are NOT to be checked out.
Downstairs Reiki Room, we now have a new and much larger Library, divided into Reiki, Health Issues, Power of Prayer, Chakras, Shamanic, Etc.
*** To borrow from Library, you put a $25 deposit down, it goes in savings account. Then you sign out books, no more than 2 at a time, return within 30 days. Keep it over 30 days and I take the $25 to buy more books.
I'm really tickled by the quality of our Lending Library. Do you have books getting dusty, no longer needed you want to donate.

Reiki Master Graduation - Susan Kelsey
WHAT REIKI MEANS TO ME
It seems like my whole life I’ve been searching for something. I looked everywhere—from religion to ritual and from science to metaphysics and back again with no satisfaction.
In the summer of 1997 some friends went to a seminar in Leavenworth and told me of one of the featured speakers who was a Reiki/Therapeutic Touch practitioner. They were impressed because this person "scanned" people in the audience and accurately diagnosed problems. A while later I saw a TV special about alternative medicine therapies which demonstrated Reiki. A couple of weeks after that I happened to pick up one of Tana's newsletters at the Food Co-Op and was intrigued. Being confronted with Reiki three times within three months made me wonder if taking a Reiki class was something I was "supposed" to do.
I decided to take just the first degree class and did so in January of 1998. I didn’t know what to expect because I’d never had a treatment, and I didn’t really think it would work. My first attunement was a wonderful experience, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it really did work. I did Reiki for everyone I knew—family, friends, pets, plants, and car. I knew immediately that I’d have to take the second degree class, and it was equally impressive. Then I could do Reiki for my asthmatic son who lives in Bellingham and my mother with fibromyalgia who lives on the other side of Washington state, and we found that the distance Reiki worked also.
Having had such incredible results with the first two classes, I developed a strong desire to take the Master class and enrolled after encouragement from Tana. It lasted from September of 1998 to November of 1998. During that time I continued doing Reiki for my family and friends, but I also began to do Reiki for some coworkers at the hospital where I work who have been very impressed with the results. Some have said that they feel refreshed after a treatment, some feel more clear-headed, others feel calmer, and some have experienced nearly miraculous healing.
Reiki has let me participate in helping other people in a way I had never imagined and still find hard to believe. I now realize that Reiki is what I’ve been searching for. It’s been like coming home.
The attunement process, daily self-Reiki, and Reiki exchanges have resulted in serious changes in my life as well. Although I still experience occasional migraine headaches, on the whole I’ve been suspiciously healthy since my first attunement. My relationships with friends and family have become more meaningful and stable. While these experiences have been very positive, it’s not all been fun and games. I have experienced a very serious dissatisfaction with my work.
As part of the Master’s course, one assignment has been to look at our lives in a different way. We had to make a mission statement and set goals. Having experienced a profound dissatisfaction with my work, one of my goals was to find work that would nourish my soul and allow me to express my spirituality. I used this assignment to help plan what "my ideal life" would be if I could have it any way I wanted. I included everything, including getting more physically fit, expanding my meditation practice, and my new career goals, and I wrote everything down. Over the months I would make small changes to my notes as my "self" was being made over through Reiki, and every once in a while I’d include a short visualization of my "ideal life" in my meditations and distance Reiki routines--and guess what? It’s all coming true!
My career choice for my "ideal life" is to work as a Reiki healer. In December of 1998, I began contacting the offices of alternative healthcare providers, and within a couple of weeks the Skagit Whole Health Center called to express interest in adding my Reiki practice to their clinic. My first day was at the beginning of February with two clients. Now I’m even getting referrals from other healthcare practitioners! I expect that it’s going to take a while to build up a full-time practice, but I feel that, if my life can be so completely and positively made over in just one year, it will definitely be worth the wait! By Susan Kelsey - Reiki Master
Susan, it has been an honor and a privilege to work with you this last year and a half. To be as sacred witness to such a commitment and personal accountability has been a delight. May you be truly blessed as you walk a path of Reiki, one of unconditional love, respect, honesty and courage. Tana - Reiki Master
